An exquisite exhibition of premium surface covering materials took place in the Grand Ballroom of the Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta earlier this year. The latest collections from RomanGranit Grande were introduced for the first time to hundreds of architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers from the Greater Jakarta area.
The event, titled Meet & Grande “Now and Beyond,” held from January 11-12, 2024, served not only as a platform for RomanGranit Grande to unveil its new collections but also as a space for professionals in architecture and interior design to gather in a forum. Meet & Grande was presented as a seminar resulting from the collaboration between Roman and Archinesia, featuring five speakers: Yori Antar (Forum AMI), Sukendro Sukendar (IALRC), Osrithalita Gabriela (Ibu Arsitek), Fitri Hilman (DevelopArs), and Budi Pradono (Bintaro Design District). The event had two moderators, Imelda Akmal (Archinesia) and Rezki Dikaputera (Arah Arsitektur).
In this exclusive event, RomanGranit Grande unveiled 37 new collections with 50 motifs. These collections were presented in large-size formats of 80×80 cm, 100×100 cm, and 120×60 cm, exuding luxury. The launch of these new collections further solidifies Roman’s position as a leader in the premium porcelain and ceramic tile industry.
Budiyani Sudartha, Sales General Manager of PT Satya Langgeng Sentosa (Roman), stated that as a producer targeting the upper class, Roman observes a growing trend in demand for larger-sized porcelain tiles over time. Large-sized porcelain tiles are considered to provide a luxurious and grand impression on buildings. “Therefore, RomanGranit Grande, utilizing advanced technology from Italy, consistently releases new large-sized collections with both glossy and matte perfect surfaces,” said Budiyani.
The launch of RomanGranit Grande’s new collections is a testament to Roman’s commitment to providing the best innovations in the building materials world. RomanGranit Grande is not just porcelain tiles; it is an artistic creation that blends the beauty of nature with modern technology. These new collections are the top choice for surface covering needs in buildings that aim to showcase beauty, luxury, and grandeur.
Budiyani added that the Meet & Grande event provides an opportunity for professionals in architecture and interior design to explore the latest RomanGranit Grande collections designed to meet the demands of various styles, including contemporary designs.
Among the dozens of new collections, three 120×60 cm collections stand out as unique and attention-grabbing: dEstremoz, dTesoro, and dTopaz. These collections showcase the beauty of rare marble-like porcelain tiles with captivating bookmatch patterns that add a distinctive and special touch to interior spaces.
Bookmatching is achieved by mirroring the installation of porcelain tiles to create a new pattern resembling an open book. Bookmatched porcelain tiles are perfect for application on floors or walls intended to be focal points.
Meet & Grande also features two products with endmatch installation patterns that offer a visual marble-like appearance with connecting veins, sized at 100×100 cm: dNebula and dVadli. There are also 100×100 cm collections with crystal effects that shine when exposed to light, namely dSelenite and dPicasso.
The beauty of the design in these large-sized porcelain tiles with perfectly flat surfaces showcases RomanGranit Grande’s expertise in providing high-end products for surface covering in commercial and residential spaces.
With a growing and diverse product portfolio, RomanGranit Grande offers flexibility to professionals and property owners to express their creativity in various design styles, from classic and modern to minimalist and industrial.
In conjunction with the launch of new products, Roman also introduced a new feature, the 3D Visualizer, which will facilitate customers in visualizing Roman’s products in a room. The usage of this feature is straightforward. Take a photo of the floor and wall using a smartphone or choose from available room models, then select the Roman porcelain or ceramic tile collection, and instantly get the visualization results in seconds. This advanced feature is now available on the official Roman website: www.roman.co.id.
Established in the 1970s, Roman produces porcelain and ceramic tiles in factories located in Balaraja, Tangerang, and Mojokerto, East Java. As a premium brand in this industry, Roman continues to innovate to create high-quality products that set the benchmark in the current market.
All the latest Roman collections can be found in House of Roman showrooms located in major cities such as Jakarta (Meruya, Fatmawati, Mangga Dua, and Kelapa Gading), Serpong, Bandung (Jl Veteran and Kota Baru Parahyangan – Bandung Barat), Semarang, Surabaya, Medan, and Denpasar.
