Roman, a pioneer of premium porcelain and ceramic tiles in Indonesia, reaffirms its leadership in the industry through its participation in Nexus Bali 2025. Held at the Bali Sunset Road Convention Centre, Denpasar, on June 25–26, 2025, the exhibition—carrying the theme “Build Your Future”—serves as a platform for Roman to showcase its latest innovations to professionals in architecture, interior design, and construction.
At this event, Roman presented a booth featuring its two flagship product lines: RomanGranit Grande and Designer Tile. Each collection embodies the perfect blend of durability, technology, and aesthetics.
“Roman continuously innovates by launching new collections to meet the needs of today’s architectural and interior projects, which prioritize added value through design and ease of application. Most recently, Roman introduced dozens of RomanGranit Grande and Designer Tile collections that can be viewed firsthand at the Nexus 2025 exhibition,” said Adi Suryadi, Marketing Manager of Roman (PT Satya Langgeng Sentosa).
Adi explained that the current trend in porcelain tiles is moving towards larger sizes. In addition to size, surface materials for floors and walls must provide added value in terms of aesthetics and luxury. RomanGranit Grande, with the tagline “Xtra Size, Xtra Value”, offers the ideal solution to meet these demands.
RomanGranit Grande introduces new collections featuring a variety of marble-inspired designs in 80×80 cm, 100×100 cm, and 120×60 cm formats. These large-format tiles incorporate special effect technologies—one of which is the diamond effect, showcased in the dScapolite collection. This effect adds glitter that sparkles like diamonds, following the marble pattern.
Other highlights include porcelain tiles with a baby-skin textured surface and special relief, featured in the dEterno, dLuni, and dSabine collections. These 80×80 cm tiles offer a uniquely soft, relief-like texture. Meanwhile, the dCelestia collection in 80×80 cm terrazzo design captivates with its glossy effect and special relief.

On the other hand, the Designer Tile: Archipelago Series offers interior designers and architects more freedom and personal expression in design. Consisting of six collections, this series expands design possibilities with small-format mosaic tiles inspired by the richness of the Indonesian archipelago’s cultural beauty.
“Roman wants to offer designers more freedom to express spatial character through unique, story-rich elements. The Designer Tile: Archipelago Series responds to the growing need for personal and contextual design,” Adi added.
This series includes three precut ceramic tile collections in 30×30 cm sheets: dSelayar (2.5×10 cm), dGili (3.75×15 cm), and dAlor (5×5 cm). The other three collections—dManika (10×10 cm), dAruna (6×30 cm), and dTegel (20×20 cm)—are 1 cm thick porcelain tiles.
Each collection showcases distinctive, unconventional designs. For example, dAruna embraces the subway tileconcept, ideal for creating a fresh ambiance in interiors. Meanwhile, the dTegel Series brings back the aesthetics of colonial-era cement tiles with modern palettes and patterns, making it suitable for both vintage and contemporary styles. This collection consists of 30 mix-and-matchable motifs.
Founded in the 1970s, Roman manufactures high-quality porcelain and ceramic tiles from its factories in Balaraja and Mojokerto. Roman products are widely available through the House of Roman showrooms in major cities and a nationwide network of retail stores across Indonesia.
